Iconic British staples are Red. Take the letter box, the London bus or the phone box… you don’t get more iconic than that! And if it’s good enough for a classic bit of Britishness, then it’s good enough for me!

Bandana head band

A hockey team staple, I rolled this bandana in the way I always have since my late teens!

Red is the colour of my Alma Mater and so this one has a sense of nostalgia to it too! A great gym accessory for keeping both your hair and sweat out of your eyes, this is my go to solution for a summer work out. And for another tip, it can be tied loosely around your wrist and a sweat mop! You can have that one for free!

Tweezerman tweezers

These eyebrow tweakers were the first ever grooming tool that I purchased from Tweezerman, and I have never looked back! I don’t know what magic goes into the design of them, but they are just better and more accurate than any other pair that I have used. With tweezers you need a decent grip, precision accuracy and ease of use, and I can tell you that these one have it all! Almost a decade on the go and still as good as the first use. Highly recommend.

Up&Up Acne spot treatment

I love it when you discover an affordable product that is just incredible at what it does. I first got my hands on some when I visited Wichita in December 2019, and my skin just went mental! The dry winds were causing havoc in the form of breakouts and so I went to Target for a solution! As a spot zapper this product gets top marks, so much so, that I get friends to pick some up for me on their travels to the US! Simple and effective I noticed massive differences in 24-48 hours on individual break outs, and for me that is a winner!

Optimum Nutrition Clear Protein in Juicy Peach

Clear Protein has been my favourite discovery of 2024 – and I am 100 percent here for it! A high protein alternative to squash, I just couldn’t maintain protein shakes every day! It’s added variety to the diet and ensured that I can up my protein too! This one is Juicy Peach ( I know it’s not technically red) but it’s super tasty as well! 20g of protein per serving and works out less than 75p per glass.

My Protein Impact Whey Protein in Salted Caramel

In my humble opinion, the best flavour of whey protein, you can’t go wrong with Salted Caramel! A bit of savoury and a bit of salt it’s the full flavour sensation. My Protein quite often have some good deals available online and for a no frills protein powder, I don’t think you can beat this formula for the price.

Simply shake with water and your high protein beverage is ready to go. I find this formula to be less thick in consistency, but full of flavour, so less bloating to consume!

Muscle Alive Gym shorts

An Amazon purchase, I was looking for some gym shorts that don’t bunch up and that allowed a wide range of movement. Comfort is key for me, so I thought I’d give them a try. But will admit that they don’t leave a lot to the imagination, but they are the most comfortable and supportive shorts that I have worn for my gym workouts. At under £15 they don’t break the bank, and yes they aren’t going to be for everyone, but I like them and they show off my legs nicely (if I do say so myself!)

ES Collection Briefs

My second pair of briefs to feature, and it’s purely because I couldn’t choose between the two! Also from Haut, they are designed by ES collection and feature a contoured front panel that offers support and coverage as well as a masculine and flattering aesthetic. These are a “Proper Brief” with a wider side seam and a more traditional shape, but the fabric is a modern blend that skims the aesthetic lines and gives and impeccable shape.
