Sidenote: As I write this post, I am realising that this is probably going to give an insight into my psyche that was not intended at all! But as I go through my notes for this post I realise that my approach to my bucket list is probably to most, a little odd!
My darling sister and her family bought me a wonderful bucket list to work towards as a Christmas present this year. Now let me stress that these are not necessarily things I have personally defined as “bucket list tasks” but all the same, 100 things there are and so I set about looking at a way to organise these tasks.
My aim is to achieve as many of these goals in 2025, which I hope will make me open to more opportunities and experiences.
After a skimming of the poster I have diligently organised the tasks into 3 sections
A) tasks that should be relatively easy to achieve (54)
B) tasks that I could do but may take a bit more thought or planning (27)
C) tasks that are unlikely to happen in 2025 due to finances or inability or sheer dislike of the task (19)
Now I want this to be challenging, but not impossible. As I always say about reality competition tv (of which I am huge fan) the integrity of the competition must be in tact!
So with this in mind I have made some rules!
- Even if I have done this thing before, I have to do it again this year for it to count
- For any of the tasks that are not possible a suitable challenging alternative may be found…
For Example:
Instead of Sky diving, which is outlawed currently by my family, I will be learning to dive into a swimming pool!
- Some picture or Video Proof must be provided to accompany the achievement of the goal.
- I am not allowed to be mean to myself about anything on the list!
So this is my challenge for 2025 and I will be adding updates throughout the year!
As tasks are ticked off below, I will add the picture of video to my new website page BUCKET LIST so that I have a Gallery to look back on!
And of course if you want to join in on my 2025 challenge, then feel free! The Bucket List is below!
