ThatIsBeyond…Jack Black – Pure Clean Daily Facial Cleanser (Aloe & Sage Leaf)

This cleanser came as part of a travel grooming kit (Jet Set Traveller £22) and over the last few months I have been testing the individual components.

This post is about the 88ml Pure Science blend cleanser, and it really is a joy to use!

The formulation is mid way between a gel and a cream, it’s almost sticky to the touch, and this is why I think this is such an effective product. When you apply it, it adheres to the surface of the skin – which means that you get an even distribution of the product and you can then buffer it into the skin much more effectively.

This is a gentle cleanser that feels and smells natural. The sage leaf and aloe are perfect for sensitive skin, and for your pre-shave preparation. It creates a rich and sturdy lather which cleans deep into the pores. It doesn’t dry the skin though, as the blend is super nourishing to the skin.
(There are no parabens, fragrances or colorants – which means it’s pretty good for your skin!)

I have enjoyed using the whole Jet Set traveller kit, but I felt that this product deserved its own shout out, and mainly that is because the formulation is so different, so independent of the mainstream, that for me it’s one you just have to try for yourself.

This is quality ingredients, a unique formulation and an effective product. I can’t say much more than that!!!!

Other than… If you can, get your hands on this corker of a product and try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

  1. I agree, this is a pretty good cleanser. I’ve used in several times in the past and it does a good job of the task at hand. I also love their Dry Erase Ultra Calming Face Cream – an absolute lifesaver if you suffer from razor burn or have sensitive skin! Great review, as always! 🙂
