I am in search of the holy grail of commutable man bags! The problem is, that I don’t exactly know what it is that I am looking for!

The previous incarnation was a Herschel rucksack that had one deep pocket and not a lot else. It served me well, but I found that the thing that I needed was always at the bottom which meant emptying the entire thing or reaching in blind, with only a hope of finding the thing that I was looking for!

I like to be organised. For me it leads to a healthier mind. It’s also time efficient and helps keep my stress levels down. So as small as this decision may seem to be on the surface, there is a lot to consider.

My Manbag wish list

⁃ Enough space to hold the necessities for work, a water bottle, a protein shaker, a lunchbox and a work shirt

⁃ An internal pocket for valuables

⁃ A look that can go formal or casual

⁃ Water proof?!

I have been looking at the Ted Baker bags and I’ll be honest aesthetically they are everything that I am looking for. They are stylish and also look durable. They wouldn’t be out of place with a casual look or at a more formal business sort of setting.

They aren’t cheap, but then again I do also want quality! I have looked at TK MAXX and they often have them, but I haven’t yet found the holdall version. The space in the other versions isn’t quite enough, but I’m not sure whether the holdall will have the other elements that I am looking for!

For something that I am reliant on every day, I don’t want to be cheap, but also you know – cost of living crisis! Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
