Thatisbeyond…Let’s all talk about my May/June Favourites!

This month I have been focussing on many things other than my grooming regime! It has been a full on month that has seen me travelling, exercising, performing & organising! So whilst I have faved some grooming products this month I am also featuring a few non-grooming ones too!

My favourite grooming set… The Jack black travel set. This is the basic kit that any guy needs to pack into his carry on. These products smell amazing and are really good for freshening up a weary traveller! The pure clean daily facial cleanser is not too drying and really cleans out the pores excellently. I used this in the rest room at the airport, just to spruce myself up and it did the trick excellently. the double duty face moisturiser is a happy medium of a day and night cream, and it not too oily. I find that it is a great balance on my combination skin! I did not use the shave cream, as I forgot to pack my razor (rookie error) but if the other two products are anything to go by, I have extremely high expectations.

My favourite food… was a breakfast that my mate prepared for us. It was so good, that we have begun to introduce a similar one in our home!
Boiled eggs, avocado, fresh bread & an apple and kale juice… Delicious and really quite healthy. I am now juicing all the time and it’s a great way to get the vitamins and nutrients that we require to get through the day.

My favourite fragrance… The American Crew classic fragrance. This is a fresh, summery and yet manly fragrance, that is light and not too overpowering. I have received so many compliments on it, and it’s secret …is that it is really competitively priced! I would really recommend this as a good everyday scent that people will notice. I have been keeping my little spray bottle in my bag as a daily essential!

My favourite exercise… The first half of my marathon! It really was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life, and at half way, the pain hadn’t really set in yet! Marathons are not for everyone, but it really hit home how much I value exercise and love a challenge. You really should set yourself a challenge and let that determination to complete it be your driving force. It has worked wonders for me! Just get out there and do it, you really will notice the difference. Also I really recommend following @theleanmachines, who provide manageable and effective wor outs on YouTube. These guys are the real deal and help keep me on track when I am feeling lazy!

My favourite shower product… Palmers cocoa body scrub. I have to say that I wasn’t sure when my wife bought this for me, as I am generally not sure about chocolate fragranced products! But the naturally crossed cocoa beans a she bitter formula, is a great exfoliater and moisturiser in one. It also has a kind of polishing quality on the skin too. This is a great product for guys and girls, and so will most probably become a staple in our shower!

My favourite airline…Norwegian airlines. Literally the simplest and least stressful journey I have taken by plane. The service was great and the ease of travel, well … Thatisbeyond! A really easy machine to print your boarding passes and luggage tags, and self service check in! (Which was a dream!) I really recommend them as an alternative to a “budget airline”, well priced and no hidden extras. But beyond that comfortable seats, and the legroom was pretty good too. I will definitely be using them again!

My favourite brand… Is l’oreal men expert! What a fantastic brand that gets it right with their products. The more of them I try the better they are. As I have mentioned on here before, I love their moisturiser and stubble softener. It’s one of those products that just does it’s job with no fuss whatsoever. It is good for my skin and controls the oily build up. As sponsors for the Stockholm marathon too, their products appeal to active men, and that is the way forward for all of us to stay looking good!

So there you go, my faves!
