I am so excited to be heading into good old London Town this weekend and joining the crowds that will be visiting the SEVEN DIALS AND ST MARTIN’S COURTYARD SPRING SHOPPING EVENT (Saturday 9 May 2015, 12-5pm)
Placed smack bang in the centre of town, London shopping destinations Seven Dials and St Martin’s Courtyard, nestled between Soho and Covent Garden, are set to host a free shopping event on Saturday 9 May. For one day only from 12-5pm, over 120 shops, bars and restaurants will be offering a 20% discount. It makes a change to be in that neck of the woods for fun and not just for work, so why not see what this event has to offer? The whole of Seven Dials will be traffic-free with in-store and outdoor activities taking place throughout the streets and within St Martin’s Courtyard, just off Long Acre. Visitors can enjoy live music performances, street food, alfresco games, a pop-up lawn around the dial complete with deck chairs , lawn games and much more, transforming the landscape of this central London fashion village.
Theirs is the perfect opportunity to Shop until you drop, for the perfect spring outfit. For stylish menswear there’s plenty to choose from, don’t miss Carhartt, Foxhall, Barbour, Industrie, and Peter Werth who are celebrating their 40th anniversary with an in-store DJ and drinks. (Please just sign me up now!)
This is the perfect event to bring your partners down to, the Beauty and grooming brands are also involved so whilst my wife can enjoy complimentary makeovers at Shu Uemura, as well as instant beauty facials, hand massages and skin consultations at Caudalie, I will be heading over to the guys at Murdock London for a complimentary beard and moustache trim! You can also visit ST Martins courtyards fast beauty bar, blow, who will be offering complimentary up-do’s.
Seven Dials and St Martin’s Courtyard are the ideal destinations to pick up unique purchases with many one-off shops and independent labels from erotic emporium Coco De Mer to floral design school The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers, stylish spectacle store Bailey Nelson and B1866 for the latest cycling accessories. Other stores exclusive to Seven Dials include Le Coq Sportif, Larsson & Jennings, Finisterre, Element and Happy Socks.
