ThatIsBeyond… A birthday list of fashion and grooming gifts!

With my impending birthday just around the corner, I thought I would take this opportunity to reveal my birthday list of potential presents… It is the post my wife has been waiting for!
This list encompasses the realistic and pipe dreams in equal measure, so I would like to add that I would never expect my whole list!

Orange David Gandy Swimming Trunks – I own two of this range already, but the Orange trunks were in my top 3 from the beginning. They are exactly the right tone, stylish with an amazing fit and the colour is fun without being too “in your face”! One of the few items of clothing, that I think I look good in, beer belly and all! That alone is worth adding a third pair to my collection! Currently available for £20 from marksandspencer.com

Ted Baker Raynono embossed flight bag – I have had my eyes on this bad boy for a while! There is something about Ted Baker Designs, that really appeal to me. Whether it’s the streamlined nature of the designs or whether it appeals directly to my preppies side, I think this range is stylish with a capital S. The Ted Baker Raynono Flight bag is £59 from tedbaker.com

Brown Double Monk Strap Shoes – I have seen many a pair of these, on many a stylish gent, but I have yet to find the perfect pair for me! Their design makes my large feet seem less intrusive and brown shoes really are more adaptable than black ones! I also have a bright blue suit that is waiting for the perfect shoes to join him! These suede ones are from Reiss.com for £125.

A Pint of Gentleman’s Wit – I could go on and on about this offering from the Camden Brewery. It is singularly my favourite tipple and I would drink it every day if I could! Full of flavour, even people who don’t like beer have enjoyed a few pints of this elixir. Delicious! Available for around £4 a pint.

Bjorn Borg Underwear – For the active male, there is no underwear brand better than Bjorn Borg. The Swedish designer knows what us guys need in supportive underwear and delivers great functional design with a vibrant colour pallet. These boxer briefs stay in place with no riding up, and also hold you in place, whatever the activity! It’s a thumbs up from me! Price are around the £20 mark from bjornborg.com I like these ones at £25. http://www.bjornborg.com/uk/bb-sail-home-1-please

Weekend in Copenhagen – Last year, I was lucky enough to spend 3 days in this beautiful city. I am desperate to take my wife there as I think she would love it! It’s a beautiful mix of culture, night life and fun and it’s pretty easy to cover it by foot! I would love to return and soak up the romance of this beautiful city. Flights from £39.90 each way via Norwegian Airlines based on travel in September.

Traditional Murdock Wet Shave –Anything Murdock is ok by me! But I am feeling like I need a hour or so to relax and get myself pampered, whilst retaining a semblance of masculinity! The hip surroundings, combined with some of the coolest gentlemen that you will ever meet means that Murdock London is the Place to tame you facial hair. A gift certificate for a Traditional Murdock Wet Shave is available from murdocklondon.com for £45.00.

‘Leaves’ Bath and Bodyworks Candle – I love a bit of Bath and Bodyworks, and I want the full three-wick experience of this autumnal fragrance. This apple base note is the perfect blend, male or female. 3 Wick Candle – Leaves is available from www.bathandbodyworks.com for $22.50.

A replacement Clarins Men – Grab and Fly – This is one of my favourite travel sets, the fresh fragrance is full of quality ingredients and is inherently masculine. The other great thing about this set is that it has so many different products. It really is a lot mor e than your average male grooming set, and will leave you with great skin, and looking clean and fresh. Clarins Men Grab and fly is available from World of Duty Free for £35.00.

And thatisbeyond…My Birthday List!
